i find it really weird when i scroll through girls’ tumblrs and all that’s there is hundreds and hundreds of photos of different beautiful girls/women with long thin legs and stylish outfits and pastel coloured hair and not one single hint towards who the person with this blog is and it just makes me think why are you spending hours of your life looking at other people when you can be whoever you want to be and if you want pink hair then you should dye your goddamn hair pink and whatever you want to be you should just fucking be it instead of looking at other people as if they’re just going to do it for you and every new anonymous faceless characterless tumblr i scroll down makes me feel a bit more depressed

why are so many people using other people to express themselves, what is wrong with who YOU are?

idk just sometimes i feel like there’s something wrong on tumblr like all these teenage girls collecting thousands of photos of people who they think are better than them when really it’s just some girl somewhere who goes to school and looks like shit in the morning and eats fast food and smokes fags and argues with her mum and gets spots and has probably been dumped by a boy or whatever

it’s almost like people forget that behind every webcam pic or film photo is a real person 

it’s like it stops being inspiration and starts being obsession and there’s no time to go out and be your own fabulous self partying up and wearing funky clothes and having a laugh with your friends if you’re spending hours of your life collecting pictures of other people doing it

NB: before i get a load of arsey anons like “haha as if people want to be like you”, i’m not referring to myself at all. you know what the typical tumblr-user aspires to be like okay so don’t give me that shite cos ima just delete it
